organ new 2018

Thinking today at how blessed I am to be the Director of Music at this wonderful Christian community. Thanks to the generosity and support of many congregation members, we will be getting a wonderful Rodgers 950 three manual organ for our Sanctuary in August.

 The new Rodgers Organ will be delivered on August 21 and

On Thursday August 23rd, David Yoder well known Rodgers organ master voicer will work with Chris Muller to adjust all of the stops (sounds) to the Sanctuary acoustics as well as voice individual stops to improve the blend and tonal quality of the instrument.  This model Rodgers organ has the capability of being tuned note by note for every stop on the organ just like a pipe organ.  This is a very complex and time consuming process, but it should be completed by Friday August 24.

Thrift Shop Logo

The Thrift Shop will re-open the Thursday after Labor Day on Sept. 6th

We would like to thank our loyal patrons, our hard-working volunteers, and, especially, our church members who donate so much of our "merchandise," without which, there could be no Thrift Shop, which is, in a way, no small part of our church's community outreach.

It provides for people who otherwise can't afford items they need, and we support several ministries in less fortunate countries, in this manner.
